Nic Cage’s ‘Ghost Rider’ Character Attempts to Join ‘Avengers 2′ Cast

As we previously reported, Nicolas Cage is a bit behind on his taxes.

With The Avengers cleaning up at the box office, the 48-year old actor saw an opportunity to get out of debt by bringing back Johnny Blaze and joining the gang for the recently-announced sequel.

Sadly, the team of popular superheroes weren’t having it.

“Um, not to be a jerk or anything, but the only thing Ghost Rider can do is cover himself in flames and ride around on a motorcycle,” Captain America told OMGG.com. “Even Nic’s Con Air character with the balding mullet had more powers than that!”
